→ Mirror Fixing Instructions
→ Follow these instructions to securely mount your mirror, whether on a placo partition or a solid wall. Make sure you use the right tools to ensure a durable installation.

Method 1: Fixing to a placo partition
→ Mark the fixing points on the partition according to the mirror supports.
→ Drill holes at the marked locations using a drill fitted with a special bit for placo.
→ Insert special placo dowels (Molly dowels) into the drilled holes.
→ Use an expansion pliers to deploy the Molly anchors inside the partition, ensuring a solid fixing.
→ Attach the mirror brackets using screws that fit the Molly anchors.
→ Hang the mirror, checking that the fixings are securely in place.

→ Tools required for fixing to placo partitions:
→ Drill with special Placo bit (6 mm or 8 mm depending on the weight of the mirror)
→ Molly anchors (special for placo)
→ Molly Anchor Expansion Pliers
→ Screws suitable for dowels
→ Spirit level (to ensure the mirror is straight)
→ Tape measure (to take measurements)
→ Phillips or flathead screwdriver (depending on the screws used)

Method 2: Fixing to a solid wall (concrete, brick)
→ Mark the fixing points on the wall according to the mirror brackets.
→ Drill holes using a drill with a bit suitable for the wall (concrete or brick).
→ Insert expansion anchors or anchors suitable for hard walls into the drilled holes.
→ Fix the mirror brackets with screws suitable for the wall plugs.
→ Use an adjustable wrench or screwdriver to firmly tighten the screws into the anchors.
→ Hang the mirror, checking that the fixings are securely in place.

→ Precautions:

Method 1: Direct connection to a power outlet
→ Locate a wall outlet at least 60cm from the nearest water point (NFC 15100 standard)
→ Use the supplied 5m power cord to plug the mirror directly into the socket.
→ If the cord is too long, use wire cutters and a wire stripper to shorten it to the desired length.
→ Connect the supplied electrical plug to the power outlet and test the mirror switch to verify that it is working properly.

→ Flat or Phillips screwdriver (depending on the plug)
→ Cutting pliers
→ Wire stripper
→ Multimeter (to check current if necessary)

Method 2: Connection behind a partition with a junction box (installation on placo)
→ Turn off the power supply before any intervention.
→ Drill a hole in the placo partition to pass the power cord behind the wall.
→ Pull the cable to the junction box located behind the partition.
→ Strip the wires from the cord and connect them to the junction box (phase, neutral, ground).
→ Fix the mirror to the wall, making sure the wires are properly hidden and protected.
→ Restore power and test that the mirror is working properly.

Method 3: Connection with a groove in a solid wall
→ Turn off the power supply before any intervention.
→ Use a chaser or chisel to create a groove in the wall to pass the 5 m power cord through.
→ Pull the cable through the channel and to the junction box or the intended connection location. Pass your cable through a protective conduit.
→ Strip the wires and make the electrical connections (phase, neutral, earth) in the junction box or electrical panel.
→ Fill the groove with plaster or filler once the wires are in place.
→ Restore power and test that the mirror is working properly.
