Mirror Mounting Instructions

To properly install your mirror, follow the instructions for the type of support (plasterboard or solid wall). Make sure you have the appropriate tools before starting installation.

Fixing to a placo partition

→ Drill with bit suitable for placo
→ Screwdriver
→ Molly anchors (suitable for placo)
→ placo screws
→ Spirit level
→ Pencil to mark the landmarks
→ Ruler or meter

→ Measure and mark the fixing points on the partition using the pencil and spirit level.
→ Drill the holes at the marked locations using the drill with the appropriate bit.
→ Insert the Molly dowels into the drilled holes. Use the Molly dowel clamp to secure them.
→ Screw the screws into the Molly anchors, leaving a small margin for hanging the mirror.
→ Carefully hang the mirror onto the screws, making sure it is securely in place and aligned.

Fixing to a solid wall (concrete, brick, etc.)

→ Drill with concrete bit
→ Screwdriver
→ Expansion anchors (suitable for concrete or brick)
→ Concrete screws
→ Spirit level
→ Pencil to mark the landmarks
→ Ruler or meter
→ Hammer (if necessary to drive in the dowels)

→ Measure and mark the fixing points on the wall using the pencil and spirit level.
→ Drill the holes at the marked locations using a drill fitted with a concrete bit.
→ Insert the expansion anchors into the holes. If necessary, use a hammer to firmly drive them in.
→ Screw the screws into the dowels, leaving a small margin for hanging the mirror.
→ Carefully hang the mirror on the screws and check that it is securely in place and straight.

→ Electrical Connection Instructions

Your mirror comes with a 5-meter cable and an electrical plug. Three connection options are available depending on your bathroom layout. Please follow the instructions for your installation.

1. Direct Connection (with plug)
→ Identify the location of the wall electrical outlet.
→ Plug the mirror's electrical plug into the socket.
→ Fix the mirror to the wall (see the fixing instructions for details).
→ Tools required: screwdriver, drill with suitable drilling bits.

2. Passing the Cable Behind a Partition
→ Use a cable detector to check for conduits behind the partition.
→ Drill a hole large enough to allow the electrical cable to pass through using a drill with a bell.
→ Run the 5 meter cable through the partition to the power supply point.
→ Connect the cable to the power supply (under the supervision of an electrician if necessary).
→ Fix the mirror to the wall (see fixing instructions).
→ Tools required: drill with bell, cable detector, screwdriver, junction box (if necessary).

3. Connection by Making a Cut in the Wall
→ Use a cable detector to avoid damage to existing conduits.
→ Draw the line of the groove where the electric cable will pass.
→ Use a chaser to create the groove in the wall.
→ Place the cable in the groove and cover it with plaster once the cable is correctly positioned.
→ Connect the cable to the power supply (consult an electrician if necessary).
→ Fix the mirror to the wall (see fixing instructions).
→ Tools required: router, drill, screwdriver, plaster, cable detector, hole saw, junction box (if necessary).
