Steps to Fix the Backlit Mirror to the Wall
→ Preparation:
→ Choose the ideal location for your mirror, taking into account the alignment and the desired height.
→ Make sure the wall is clean, dry, and free from any irregularities to ensure perfect fixing.

→ Measurement and marking:
→ Use the tape measure to measure the position of the fixing points on the wall.
→ Draw the pencil marks precisely using the spirit level to ensure that the mirror will be perfectly straight.

→ Preparation of the fixing points:
→ Drill holes at the marked locations using the drill and drill bits appropriate for the wall type.
→ Insert the dowels into the drilled holes. Make sure they are fully inserted and securely fastened.

→ Installation of wall brackets:
→ Attach the mounting brackets supplied with the mirror to the wall plugs using the appropriate screws.
→ Tighten the screws with a screwdriver or drill to ensure the brackets are firmly against the wall.

→ Fixing the mirror:
→ With the help of another person, position the mirror on the wall brackets. Make sure it is centered.

How to electrically connect your backlit mirror?

→ Important: This mirror must be installed in accordance with French standard NFC 15-100, which governs low-voltage electrical installations in buildings. If you are unsure about your ability to carry out the installation safely, it is recommended that you consult a professional electrician.

→ Safety Distance: For an electrical connection directly to a power outlet, ensure that you maintain a minimum distance of 60 cm from any water point (sink, shower, bathtub, etc.), in accordance with standard NFC 15-100.

→ The mirror is supplied with: A 5-meter long power cable, equipped with an electrical connection plug for quick and easy installation.

Electrical Connection Options

→ Connect the junction box to the main electrical circuit, making sure to turn off the power before any manipulation.

→ Connection by Making a Cut in the Wall
→ Determine the exact location of the kerf based on the final location of the mirror and junction box.
→ Protect the areas around the kerf with masking tape or tarps to prevent wall chips.
→ Use a groove cutter or grinder equipped with a diamond blade to create the groove in the wall.
→ Cut the cable to the appropriate length and insert it into the groove.
→ Connect the cable to a junction box behind the wall, following the same instructions as in the previous case.
→ Fill the groove with plaster or filler, then smooth to prepare the surface for repainting or covering.
→ Connect the junction box to the main electrical circuit in accordance with safety standards.
→ Test the mirror to verify that all features are active.
